Laura Black contributed to Dr. Angela Ammerman's book with a chapter discussing music student recruitment and retention in rural schools. The chapter addresses the joys and challenges of building and maintaining a music program in a rural setting. Laura also presented on this topic with her co-authors at The Midwest Clinic in December 2023.
